Forum president and CEO John Elsey also serves as CEO, Informa Performance Improvement, leading and unifying five Informa companies that help organizations grow through comprehensive learning solutions.

John is passionate about helping leaders understand the business drivers that improve employee performance and organizational results. He also helps leaders envision the positive impact on their bottom line that Forum learning solutions and ROI measurement can make.

John has led global expansions, product and service innovations, and multiyear global technology infrastructure investment programs that resulted in significant business efficiencies and increased speed and flexibility in clients’ execution of strategic engagements.

Earlier in his career, John worked with several well-known organizations, including International Paper, where he built considerable expertise in the areas of energy, construction, civil engineering, and manufacturing.

Aly Brandt

Executive Vice President, General Manager Americas Region

New York, NY

An experienced business leader based in New York City, Aly has effectively driven growth regionally and globally through sales and management initiatives since becoming an executive team member of the Forum Corporation in 2003.

Aly joined Forum in 1988, and has consistently been recognized as one of the company’s top revenue producers. With more than 20 years of global business development experience, she is well networked in the global leadership development industry. Aly currently heads the Americas Region, including sales, marketing, delivery, resourcing and Resource Network – supporting end-to-end solutions in the market. She advises Global 1000 executives and senior leaders on best practices in global sales force development, sales leadership and management and leadership initiatives.

Her clients have included a range of industry leaders, including Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer, Starwood, Covidien, Unilever, Canon, Bausch & Lomb and Chubb. Her prior roles included executive vice president of global sales, general manager for the Northeast region, vice president of sales for the Northeast, and senior account director. Aly has been awarded numerous chairman’s sales and industry awards, including an Excellence in Practice Citation from American Society for Training and Development for work with Deloitte and an International Society for Performance Improvement Award for Excellence in Outstanding Human Performance Intervention for work with Xerox.

Aly also has served on multiple advisory boards, including a paid position as a Partner Development board member at Deloitte. For more than 10 years, she has served as chairman of the board of Naked Angels Theater, a nationally recognized original work theatre based in New York City.

Aly has a B.A. in philosophy from Boston University.

Jocelyn Davis

Executive Vice President, Research & Development

Santa Fe, NM

A veteran of Forum since 1989, Jocelyn leads Forum's global research and development function. She is responsible for Forum's strategies regarding creating and leveraging intellectual property, which includes original research, learningware, consulting tools and protocols, as well as other core content. Jocelyn also provides design advice on client projects and has worked with clients such as Eli Lilly, GE, Bausch & Lomb, Coca Cola, Agilent, Microsoft, BankOne, Walt Disney, and Nike. Jocelyn is co-author of Forum’s latest book, Strategic Speed: Mobilize People, Accelerate Execution (Harvard Business Press, June 2010).

In the past decade, Jocelyn's teams have doubled the size of Forum's library with innovative learning curricula, including Leading Change, Leading Innovation, Leading Across Boundaries, Achieving Service Excellence, Sales Through Service, Leading Effective Sales Teams, Strategic Account Management, Senior-Level Selling, and Consultative Skills. She co-authored the research reports "Blended Learning Strategy" and "Principles of Workplace Learning," which offer new strategies and tools for improving performance in the workplace using blended learning methods. She has also evolved Forum's products and capabilities to make them more flexible, broader-ranging, and more attuned to client needs.

As a consultant with the Forum Corporation of Canada, Jocelyn previously led projects in the design and development of client-specific learning solutions, working with clients such as The Toronto Star, KPMG, MCI, GE Capital, and Unilever.

Jocelyn is the recipient of numerous awards including three of Forum's Corporate Excellence Awards, a Forum Manager of the Year Award, and two Human Resource Executive Training Products Awards for sales and teaming systems courses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with high honors from Swarthmore College and a Master of Arts in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.

Melissa Davis

General Counsel, VP Corporate Development

New York, NY

Melissa is general counsel and vice president of corporate development, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, distributors, and other third party relationships across geographies.

She also oversees global marketing, ensuring that Forum’s message is clear and consistent across multiple channels and throughout the marketplace.

Melissa combines a responsive, client-focused mindset with a firm understanding of in-house corporate processes and business partnerships, while also ensuring that client legal discussions and agreements are as effortless as possible

Prior to joining Forum, Melissa was an associate in the corporate practice at both Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Jones Day, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private equity funds. Melissa advised clients on all aspects of corporate transactions.

Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and a JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.

Graham Scrivener

Managing Director
Forum's Europe, Middle East and Africa regions

London, England

Graham manages all aspects of marketing, sales and project delivery for corporate clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He also oversees a small portfolio of major clients across Europe, where he focuses on senior leadership and customer experience.

In addition, Graham manages a team of client directors supporting the local implementation of international projects, ensuring cultural sensitivity, appropriate resourcing and project management excellence.

He has strong relationships within a broad range of clients, from financial services to the fast-moving consumer goods sector, and this brings a broad perspective to the way he engages with clients over business issues. He has directed some of Forum’s most high-profile and award-winning projects, including Haägen-Dazs, Coca Cola, Air Products and Amgen.

Prior to joining Forum, Graham worked for 14 years in the training sector, building a successful information technology training and consultancy business in the U.K., operating primarily in the financial services market. This background has made his approach to client management both pragmatic and partnership-focused.

Graham has a B.A. in history and geography and lives outside London with his wife and two sons.

Dan Hurley

Senior Vice President, Global Operations

Boston, MA

Dan is an expert in optimizing organizational and operational effectiveness. He leads global operations that support Forum’s marketing, sales and research and development activities. His functional responsibilities include business systems, human resources, information technology and publications. Dan also leads the Executive and Design Consulting group that assists in transferring knowledge to and integrating practices with clients worldwide.

He is focused on refining and creating the infrastructure and supporting systems that assure a continuously improving ability to achieve optimal business performance. As a result, his energies are directed at minimizing complexity, increasing flexibility, assuring more efficient asset and resource utilization and optimizing organizational and operational performance.

Dan has extensive experience in operations, consulting, learning and development and executive coaching. His engagements have included strategy formulation and execution, reorganizations and turnarounds, organizational/operational transformations and large scale change efforts. His clients have included Alcoa, Conoco/Phillips, General Motors, GMAC, Pulte Homes, 3M and many more.

Prior to joining Forum, Dan worked with a number of well-known organizations, including Deloitte & Touche, where he was responsible for midmarket strategy formulation and learning and development. He also worked for GMAC, where he instituted their leadership development program, and Pulte Homes, where he coached executives in achieving superior performance levels.

Dan has a B.S. in Engineering from Purdue University, and a master’s degree in Business and Industrial Relations from Loyola University Chicago.
