Galina Jeffrey

Executive Vice President, Asia / Pacific

Galina U. Jeffrey has been with Forum for over 18 years.   Currently, she is responsible for The Asia Pacific region and Forum's International Development activities.   

 

Galina draws on her knowledge of Forum from both internal and external perspectives as she has held significant corporate roles as well as overseas field assignments.   Galina developed and led the Asian market based out of Hong Kong for 9 years.  During that time, she built a team, established a customer base across a broad geography, developed a brand reputation for Forum and provided support for global projects sold in other markets.   She developed partner relationships in Japan and Korea and managed an existing relationship in Australia/NZ. 

 

Past roles also include, Regional Manager of the US Southeast Region, including the Government business, senior management oversight for salesforce onboarding, leading Research and Capability Development, Marketing/PR, , Client Technology Services, HR and Knowledge Management and Management of the project resourcing and variable workforce.    Galina has worked with many key clients such as The Department of Homeland Security, Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, Citibank, DuPont, Sealand, Jardine Pacific Limited, Deloitte & Touche, Leo Burnett, Merrill Lynch, American Express, and many others.  

 

Prior to joining Forum, Galina was a Senior Vice President at BayBanks in Boston, where she managed the HR function, built the training function, and directed overall staff planning and development.  Previously, she worked for Citibank in New York where she was involved in training and the introduction of new products and services - the most significant one being, the introduction of the first ATM network in banking history.  She conducted Adult Education programs for the U.S. Government while living in Germany as well as Korea.

 

Fluent in Russian, Galina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies and Education from Fordham University and has done graduate work in adult education and organizational development at Fordham University and the University of Southern California. She received Forum's Chairman/Excellence Awards for Product introductions and client project teams, as well as awards from the revenue related sales club. She maintains various professional memberships. She speaks to business and community groups on how organizations can use learning as a key lever to realize their business goals, the role of leaders in growing organizations, HR as a business partner, cross-department collaboration, sales leadership, customer-focused quality, management development, organizational change, and curriculum design.
