Ellen Foley
Executive Vice President, Client Engagements
Ellen Foley is head of the Client Engagements function for The Forum Corporation, a global leader in workplace learning for over 30 years. In her role at Forum Ellen is responsible for global leadership of the teams that deliver our client work, including Resourcing, Project Management, and Solutions Design.
During her 15-year tenure at Forum Ellen has held a variety of line and staff positions, including: Leader of the People Function; Leader of Forum's Strategy Review task force; Division Manager; General Manager of one of Forum's outsourcing alliances; Manager of Forum's Training Organization Assessment Capability; Engagement Leader of Forum's largest training organization assessment and re-engineering project; Leader of Forum's Learning Management Strategy Review task force; and Learning Consultant/Designer. Before joining Forum, Ellen spent 10 years in the financial services industry at BayBanks, a regional bank in New England. As Vice President and Director of Training and Development for BayBanks, she and her staff of training specialists were responsible for organization-wide training.
Ellen is a learning professional with 25 years of experience. She has worked in a variety of industries including financial services, high technology, healthcare, insurance, automotive, aerospace, and utilities. Clients she has worked with include Advanced Micro Devices, Agilent Technologies, Baxter, The Capital Group, CDW, Charles Schwab, Delphi Automotive Systems, eBay, First Interstate Bancorp, Gap Inc., Hewlett-Packard, Kaiser Permanente, LandAmerica, Microsoft, Moore Corporation, National Westminster Bank (UK), Northrop Corporation, PacifiCare, Pacific Gas & Electric, SC Johnson, Sun Microsystems, US Bancorp, US Department of Homeland Security, The Vanguard Group, and Visa.
Ellen has a B.A. from Williams College and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. She is a published author of several supervisory and management workshops and video-based learning programs for the American Management Association, including Coaching for Top Performance, Giving Clear Directions, Follow-Up Coaching, Creative Thinking, and Where Do I Go From Here?
