Vice President, Marketing

ROLE OVERVIEW:

 

This position is responsible for leading the global marketing function to ensure enhanced brand awareness and effective lead generation. VP of Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of Forum's global marketing strategy and plans.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Has deep experience and a strong track record of marketing professional/consulting services;
  • Brings international experience and perspective in the creation and execution of global marketing and brand strategy;
  • Creates short- and long-term implementation plans and budgets;
  • Works with and supports regional sales teams and resources to execute marketing activities;
  • Owns and executes the PR strategy - knows how to leverage public relations firms and activities to advance Forum's brand and to generate leads among target buyers in target markets;
  • Manages speaker placement of Forum's thought leaders at key conferences;
  • Leads the creation and maintenance of a high-impact website (and other media outlets);
  • Supervises the look-and-feel of all published branded items - leads the creation of high-impact marketing collaterals;
  • Works effectively with key functional constituents - sales, research, and product; development - has strong, proactive communication and collaboration skills to help direct and support marketing execution in the field;
  • Thinks outside the box - pushes thinking in terms of marketing and brand strategy, partnerships and approaches.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

 

Major influence relationships with CEO, members of the GLT including the heads of sales, research and development, and delivery.

 

Job Experience:

15+ years of marketing and leadership positions in a professional services firm.  Significant experience in business-to-business direct marketing at the management level, preferably working with intangible products or services. Experience managing a team of marketing professionals and building a PR strategy necessary.

 

 

Education:

MBA preferred. Bachelors degree required.
